For: Anyone (including staff, volunteers, and committee members) involved in the implementation of promoting the image, publicity, profiling and communications of the organisation.

Learning outcomes:
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand and appreciate the importance of marketing and promoting VCS organisations and projects.
- Understand the process and principles of advertising in the VCS
- Understand the process of profiling and meeting the needs of different target audiences
- Know how to spread their message to a wider audience

1. Glossary of terms
2. Standing out to succeed
3. The process and principles of advertising
4.  Identifying and profiling varied target audiences
5. Branding / message content
6. Useful tips

VCS organisations in the City of Manchester – £55
VCS organisations outside the City of Manchester – £60
Statutory & Commercial – £100

We allocate places on our training at the time of booking. Places can get fully booked very quickly. Our cancellation policy is based on a three week notice period. If you cancel your place within three weeks of the training start date, the full fee will be payable. If you cancel your place on the training with more than three weeks notice, there will be no fee.
