The Gio health check is a tool that we can use to help you identify the strengths of your organisation and any areas for development. It covers (amongst other things):

- Policies and procedures
- Networks and partnerships
Once your organisation has worked through the check, we can then create a bespoke plan of support to help your group develop. To start you own organisational health check call the Gio project team on 0161 832 0934.
This bespoke plan could contain:
- In-house training (cost involved) on a particular issue that you need to have more knowledge of across the organisation
- Facilitated sessions (cost involved) with staff dealing with organisational planning, visioning, creating a funding or marketing strategy, trustee roles and responsibilities amongst other issues
- Funding searches – if you have a particular project that would like to continue or develop and need to find funding for, we can research a number of potential funders and feedback to you regarding who might be appropriate for you to apply to.
- Funding application review – we can cast a critical but friendly eye over any bids for funding to pick out areas for improvement. Sometimes an external perspective can be invaluable.
